* Add your review to Sam’s Amazon book page! – Debbie *
Sometimes you have to go for it, as my youngest grandchild is doing with his first birthday cake. His oldest sister verbalized her baby brother’s thoughts as he reached for the remaining cake: “Hmm… this looks promising.”
Today is pub date for my book, At Peace: Choosing a Good Death After a Long Life (Hachette Book Group / Grand Central Life & Style) and you really can help. If you have pre-ordered my book on Amazon, today is THE DAY to post a short review. (Or anytime soon thereafter.) And although I’m not terribly comfortable, I’m “going for it“ by making this ask. (Debbie explains below how to post an Amazon review.)
The more reviews posted to my Amazon page, and the faster they are posted, the higher the rankings for my book and the more visibility it will get. This works whether you buy the Kindle or hardcover edition.
How to leave your Amazon review of my book
[Instructions from Debbie] It’s easy. When you are logged into your Amazon account on your computer, it will say Hello Your First Name in the upper right hand corner. Enter Samuel Harrington At Peace into the Amazon search box.
Search results will include Sam’s book page: https://www.amazon.com/At-Peace-Choosing-Death-After/dp/1478917415/
Once on his page, scroll down and click the button that says, “Add a customer review.” It helps if you’ve ordered the book, as then you are a “verified purchaser.”
For a preview, download the Introduction
And if you’re saying, “But Sam, I haven’t read your book yet,” I have a solution. Click here to download a PDF of the Introduction, just as it appears in the book. It will serve as a good synopsis, in substance and style, for the entire work. Now you’ll be ready, when your copy of At Peace arrives in the mail, to compose a short review for Amazon.
Yours in excitement and reinvention and with thanks in advance,
Sam and Debbie
Done!
Emily, thanks so much. I saw it on Sam’s Amazon page. I’m one of the guilty ones who has a hard time thinking about death. Working on it, with Sam’s gentle urging!
The best information I have read yet ! Taking control of your death when possible is invaluable. I read the book, told my sister about it, she bought the book, told her friend who in turn bought the book. My mom who is 86 read the book and sent one to her nephew who is dealing with both parents with dementia. I told my friend and she just bought the book as her mother is ninety + with dementia and the start of failing kidneys. Its a priceless book !!!
